First International Veterinary Poultry Congress & Exhibition of Iran will be held by Veterinary Council of I. R. Iran, World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA-Iran Branch) as main Organizers and Contemporary Conference Organizers (CCO) as Co-organizer on February 19-20, 2008, Tehran-Iran.
The main objectives of this association are:
- To organise meetings for studying diseases and conditions relating to the avian species.
- To encourage research in this field.
- To promote the exchange of information and material for study between in individuals and organization intersted in avian species.
- To establish and maintain liaison with other bodies with related interests.
   Poultry industry plays a pivotal role in Iran's economy and it is considered to be the second largest industry after oil and its related industries.
